Rossy de Palma for Christian Louboutin

French iconic footwear designer Christian Louboutin celebrates his 20 years of creations with the publishment of his first book. A beautiful tome featuring the designer's most iconic styles as well as an insight into his influences and photos from his personal archives. Dita Von Teese, Diane von Furstenberg, Kristin Scott Thomas, Rossy de Palma, Arielle Dombasle, Farida Khelfa, Mika, Gareth Thomas .... all the creative muses and friends were present to participate in this book too.

Rossy de Palma & Christian Louboutin

I decided to choose Rossy de Palma among all the celebrities in the book because she's a great Spanish artist. Described by many as a Picasso come-to-life, Rossy de Palma broke the rules of beauty and became an iconic fashion character. Discovered as an "Almodóvar girl", she also acted in Robert Altman's "Prêt-à-Porter" and many other french films. She has modelled and has been muse for designers such as Sybilla, Thierry Mugler and Jean-Paul Gaultier.

In this video -her shooting for the book- she's just everything she is: a smart and intelligent woman, with a great personality, original, witty and very funny.
Quoting Man Ray and coming up with statements like this:
"Women's relationship to shoes is similar to women's relationship to men. We can't live without them but living with them is so painful!"
